Whakawhanake Kāinga Komiti meetings are open to the public and are typically held every 6 months. Agendas are circulated one week before the meetings.

Meeting dates for 2025

Please note that while meetings are generally public, in some cases specific items may be publicly excluded, whereby specific items are discussed without members of the public or media present.

This may reflect commercial sensitivity of a particular item, or to protect a person's privacy, as established in the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act (LGOIMA) 1987 which provides grounds under which reports may be considered with the general public and media excluded.

If there is a case for the public being excluded, this will be made clear at the time of the meeting and agenda distribution.

There are two GCP Regional Public Transport Plan Hearings, these are:
